"Over the years I have been to many all you can eat places. This is the only place I’ve been that doesn’t have a separate all you can eat menu. You just pay the all you can eat price and order anything from the menu which is real nice. The atmosphere is very pleasant. It’s very modern and clean while still maintaining a welcoming vibe. As for the food, it was exceptional. Everything tasted so fresh and the portions were beyond generous. This is definitely in my favorite sushi restaurant so far. Dare I say my favorite restaurant in general. I think I’m already planning when I should go back haha. My waitress, I believe her name is Lucy, was very attentive to the needs or wants of the customer. She continuously checked up to see if I wanted anything and answered any questions I had. She was also patient and non-judgmental while I decided what to order next. It definitely made the experience a lot better. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend this place to everyone!"

"MC's Garage has evolved! Well, technically it was bought out after it folded due to poor management, planning, and degrading food presentation. Ippin is a known chain of Japanese restaurants that specializes in slightly Americanized sushi, ramen, and flash grilled specialties. To summarize, the food was as expected, fair, and commonplace amidst large-scale sushi joints that hire young Japanese students with minimal culinary training. Nevertheless, we love our sushi and this is many steps above grocery store or gas station California roll horror. SERVICE: We went on the sixth day after open. To be perfectly honest, the service was OUTSTANDING. The host was inviting and friendly and the server was joyful and had fantastic people skills. Service was much faster than most restaurants of this ilk and they did everything to code for a gladly gratuitous tip. FOOD QUALITY: If you order all-you-can-eat, you can pick absolutely ANYTHING off of the menu. That is rare. I'd say the overall taste was solid. The raw fish tasted fresh. The cuts were extremely generous, as well as most portion sizes. Food arrangement was artful and professional, though sloppy in some ways. As you can see from my photo, the super dragon roll (top) has a hand pressed mass of spicy blended salmon on top. You can see the knuckle indentations. That was wasteful, off-putting and really imbalanced the taste and texture. That being said, the kimchi was AMAZING. Freshly made in-house, the server wasn't kidding when she praised its flavor. I had great kimchi once in North Minneapolis, and this was a close match. The wantons were average Chinese style and common. Sugar-laden cream cheese. We ordered shrimp fried rice, it was surprisingly good. Hibachi style, smokey and flavorful. Lastly, the ramen was..really nice. The broth was comforting, very home style, with just the right amount of salt, fat, and umami. Not overpowering or sweet. The thin-sliced sweet pork was a solid pairing to perfectly cooked thin wheat noodles. ATMOSPHERE: Without a doubt, you can tell this was MC's Garage. But that's okay. They used the furniture and appointments well to save money while maintaining a decent Asian theme. Bathrooms haven't changed and everything is extremely clean. Unfortunately, I couldn't fit everything into my belly, so I'll be back. There are many ramens left to try."

"Came for lunch and it was all you can eat for $21.99. They do charge for any food waste so be mindful of what you order. Wonderful food, really good quality for the price. If you aren't very hungry you can just order straight off the menu. You can order sushi, appetizers, stir fry, ramen, literally anything except the drinks. The portions are very generous. Environment is super clean, new, and there is wonderful service by the waiters. Upon entering you are greatly very respectfully and kindly. Would 100% come back, for the price the value is unmatched and it's so fresh and delicious. Probably the best place to get sushi."

"Ippin Sushi & Ramen Bar is the place to go for lunch! My husband and I ate here on my lunch break and both partook in the All You Can Eat Lunch. What a great deal! I am a bottomless pit for sushi, and the sushi was so good! That fish is fresh and you can taste it! Our service was great and quick as well! Highly recommend, this will for sure be a staple restaurant for us now!"
